Monica Morales Hernandez
Monica is an applied mathematician and Assistant Teaching Professor at Adelphi University. Her areas of interest are Numerical Analysis, Statistics, Math Education, Pop Culture in Mathematics, and History of Mathematics.
Monica's dedication to her profession goes beyond the walls of academia. She is an advocate for promoting diversity in STEM fields, actively encouraging underrepresented groups to pursue careers in mathematics.
She also finds solace in outdoor activities, such as hiking along with her mini dachshund dog named Suga and exploring new places, which serve as a reminder of the fluidity and beauty of the natural world she studies. In her spare time, Monica enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest BTS trends and namjooning in NYC.
